*only GSAS-approved groups are eligible to apply for funding through the GSC
GSAS Graduate Student Groups (GSGs) unite GSAS students based on general topics of interest that may be (for example) cultural, sports-related, advocacy-oriented, or related to an interdisciplinary educational endeavor. GSGs are NOT affiliated with a Harvard department, division, or program. Majority membership in GSGs comprises GSAS students.
To start a GSG, one should consult the GSAS Graduate Student Group Handbook and contact Jackie Yun and Janet Daniels in the GSAS Student Services Office for more information.
A list of active GSGs is available here. GSG officers must renew their group's status at the beginning of each academic year in order for their group to remain active. Only active GSGs are eligible to apply for GSC funding.
