Any GSAS student enrolled full-time in a degree-granting program is eligible to apply for GSC Conference and Summer Research Grants, provided that his or her department meets the attendance stipulation described below. Candidates must be in good standing, and in the case of the GSC Conference Grant, conferences attended must be in the academic or intimately related field of the applicant.
Applicants must have paid the Graduate Student Council Fee.
In order for students from a given department to be eligible to apply for GSC Conference and Summer Research Grants, a graduate program must be represented by at least one student at two GSC meetings per semester to be eligible for the following semester's grant competitions. Eligibility is assessed on the basis of attendance during the preceding semester. (E.g. Eligibility for the winter and spring funding rounds depends on department representative attendance in the fall.) A list of eligible departments is posted after the last open meeting of the semester on this page.
